Some say that the solution to the GLBT right inequality would be to stop being so emotional and instead become more rational. That the word wedding is what bothers straight religious people and that we should be satisfied with domestic partnerships.

For those that think this way I say:

The only thing I find irrational is being kicked out of a straight club just because your dancing with your partner, having your foster children being removed from THEIR home because your gay, being left to sit outside a hospital waiting room when your partner in laying in their death bed. Emotional is exactly how we are…we are angry and we are dishearten from the injustice created because of the mentality that gay people can’t really have a serious relationship or have a stable family. ITS RIDICULLOS!

Domestic partnership is a start I agree however it is not the same as marriage. Every state has it own domestic partnership privileges and all are different. None of them are applicable in other states.

Like Ellen said on her show, it’s not the same to say you can sit in the bus you just can’t sit in the front of the bus.

I invite you to go to a local family pride event. The south Florida gay pride event that I went to last week spoke for itself. Both children and parents surrounded by pure love. I am proud and happy to be part of such a wonderful group of people who out of love for their family rights have created this on their own.

Florida get involved with and get united!
